Sustainability at Pilgrim’s Europe takes many forms. Alongside producing some of the nation's favourite, award-winning sausages, colleagues Steve Roach and Andy Spragg are also responsible for looking after two busy beehives on site.

The hives form part of Linton’s wider wildflower meadow project, helping create habitats for pollinators, supporting biodiversity. Now three years on from enrolling in a beginner’s beekeeping course, Steve and Andy’s dedication is a fantastic example of how our colleagues make a positive impact in their communities and the environment.
